Dave's Heavy Towing began in 1975 operating out of a 2 bay gas station-with 2 objectives in mind: • Professional service • Fair pricing for everyone With leaps and bounds, Dave's Heavy Towing went to the forefront of truck towing and recovery, road service and equipment transportation in New Jersey and throughout the surrounding states. Never the company to stand still-Dave's Heavy Towing operates a fleet of "state of the art" Hydrocrane/under-reach Tow Trucks with capacities of 55 tons with wheel baskets, king pin hitches and bus attachments. All units are equipped with safety chains, multiple forks, air tools, hand tools and recovery apparatus.

Heavy Duty Towing and Recovery

Since 1975, Dave's Heavy Towing has specialized in servicing the commercial trucking industry. At a time when most towing services used their "wreckers" for accidents - Dave's Heavy Towing was actively looking for repeat customers in the trucking industry - providing quick response, professional service and fair pricing. Starting with long-gone trucking companies such as Consolidated Freight and McLean Trucking to the mega-trucking companies J.B. Hunt and Swift Transportation - Dave's Heavy Towing has worked for them all!

If there was one thing that they all knew - one call to Dave's Heavy Towing and the job was as good as done - expertly, damage free and fairly priced!

 

Recovery

Dave's Heavy Towing's fleet of heavy duty hydrocrane tow trucks perform recovery jobs expertly and effortlessly. With operators certified by "Wreckmaster" and with over 25 years experience each - there are few recoveries that they have not encountered and conquered. From a set of double trailers flipped over a guardrail and down an embankment to an excavator extraction with 7 part lines - Dave's Heavy Towing has the experience, the equipment and the expertise to handle the toughest recoveries!

Transportation Service and Equipment Hauling

As one of the first towing services in NJ with a fleet of Landoll Tractor Trailers, Dave's Heavy Towing's knowledge and expertise in equipment hauling is unrivaled! Our fleet of 6 - 50' air ride Landoll trailers can easily move backhoes, aerial lifts, storage containers or any other piece of construction equipment. When a customer calls Dave's Heavy Towing for something out of the ordinary to be moved - they made the right call! Our Landolls can be equipped with railroad tracks for moving rail cars or a knuckleboom for self-loading light towers or concrete boxes.

Along with our fleet of Landolls, Dave's Heavy Towing also has the capabilities to move larger and heavier equipment with our 55 ton Removable Gooseneck Trailer. Excavators-Cranes-Offroad Dumps-high mast forklifts are NO PROBLEM!

To round out our fleet, we also have tandem axle rollback straight trucks with pintle/ball hitch attachments. Gensets, compressors, hoses and cables can all be transported with one truck to save you time and money.
